A general term for paper used for packaging and making bags. Generally, strength is required, and depending on the application, aesthetics and water resistance are also important. Kraft paper is widely used, and many processed papers such as glassine paper, parchment paper, paraffin paper, tarpaulin paper (moisture-proof and waterproof paper made by bonding two sheets of kraft paper with asphalt), and polyethylene-laminated paper (moisture-proof and waterproof paper made by laminating polyethylene onto kraft paper, high-quality paper, cellophane, etc.) are used depending on the purpose.
