Indonesia's national oil and gas company, engaged in the exploration, development, refining, export and domestic sales of oil and gas. Its official name is Perusahaan Pertambangan Minyak dan Gas Bumi Negara. In 1960, the oil industry was nationalized by presidential decree, and three national oil companies, Permind, Permigan and Pertamin, were established in 1961. In 1966, it was reorganized into two companies, Permina, which extracts and refines oil, and Pertamin, which sells and distributes products.

インドネシアの国営石油･ガス企業で，石油およびガスの探鉱･開発，精製，輸出，国内販売を行う。正式名称はPerusahaan Pertambangan Minyak dan Gas Bumi Negara。1960年，大統領令により石油産業が国有化され，61年にPermind,Permigan,Pertaminの三つの国営石油公社が設立された。66年に再編成され，採油，精製を行うPerminaと，製品の販売，流通を行うPertaminの2社となった。
