Fuji Asama Mono - Fujiasama Mono

Japanese: 富士浅間物 - ふじあさまもの

It is a type of puppet theater and kabuki script. The subject is the Noh play "Fuji Taiko." The wife of Fuji, who was killed by the musician Asama in a dispute over a role in the orchestra, comforts her anger by beating the drum, knowing that the enemy was the drum. In joruri, the most famous is "Futaba Reijin Azuma no Hinagata" by Namiki Sosuke at the Toyotake Theater in July 1733 (Kyoho 18), which is a work that combines the plot of the Gidayu original "Yoroboshi." The "Awashima Keizu Yomeiri Hinagata" by Takeda Izumo at the Takemoto Theater in April 1749 (Kan'en 2) is a revised version of the previous work.

人形浄瑠璃･歌舞伎脚本の一系統。題材は能の《富士太鼓》。管絃の役の争いから楽人浅間に殺された富士の妻が，敵は太鼓であると，太鼓を打って恨みを慰めるのが主題。浄瑠璃では1733年(享保18)7月豊竹座の並木宗輔作《莠伶人吾妻雛形（ふたばれいじんあづまのひながた）》が有名で，これは義太夫正本《弱法師（よろぼし）》の筋と合わせた作品。49年(寛延2)4月竹本座の竹田出雲作《粟島譜嫁入雛形（あわしまけいずよめいりひながた）》はその改訂版。
