A fantasy story for children written by Italian author Carlo Collodi (1826-1890). Original title: The Adventures of Pinocchio. Published in 1883. The wooden puppet Pinocchio is a wayward prankster who runs away from home and goes on a series of adventures, but with the guidance of a fairy, he tries to be a good boy and becomes a human child.
