A former town in Nasu County, eastern Tochigi Prefecture. It occupies the eastern bank of the Naka River midstream and is mostly hilly. Tobacco cultivation has been thriving since the Edo period, mainly in Oyamada-go. Koisago pottery is a specialty of the town.
