Eight-grade wage system

Japanese: 八級賃金制 - はちきゅうちんぎんせい

China's wage system. The majority of workers are classified into eight grades based on a wage grade system. Wage grades and wage amounts are determined based on technical grade standards, wage grade tables, and wage rates. Technical grade standards are established by industry according to technical knowledge, actual operating skills, and level of skill. The wage grade table is composed of wage grades, wage grade coefficients, and coefficient differences (%) (table). The wage grade coefficients represent the ratio of each grade to the minimum wage rate, i.e., the wage rate for grade 1, and also show the wage differences between workers with different levels of skill.

中国の賃金体系。労働者の賃金級別は大多数が1級から8級に分けられた賃金等級制度を採る。賃金等級と賃金額は〈技術等級標準〉〈賃金等級表〉〈賃金率〉にもとづいて決定する。技術等級標準は技術知識，実際の操作技能，熟練の程度に応じて産業別に制定する。賃金等級表は賃金等級，賃金等級係数，係数差(％)より構成され(表)，賃金等級係数は最低賃率すなわち1級の賃率に対する各等級の比を表し，また各種の熟練程度が異なる労働者の賃金差をも示している。
