Japanese: 意欲障害 - いよくしょうがい

Drives and will are collectively called volition. Drives are spontaneous impulses to do something, and are accompanied by tense, unpleasant feelings, but when released, feelings of pleasure result. While drives are unconscious and instinctive, will is conscious goal setting that arises from motivation and is expressed as behavior and attitudes. Therefore, volitional actions include drives, options, decisions, and attitude decisions regarding the results of actions. Pathological disorders of motivation are collectively called volitional disorders, and the following are common examples:

欲動と意志をあわせて意欲という。欲動は自発的に発生する，何かをしようとする衝動であり，緊張した，不快な感情をともなうが，それが解放されると快の感情が生じる。欲動が無意識的，本能的なものであるのに対し，意志は動機から発生した意識的な目標設定であって，行動や態度として表現される。したがって意志作用には欲動，選択可能性，決断，行為の結果についての態度決定が含まれている。意欲の病的障害を総称して意欲障害といい，一般に次のものがあげられる。
