Japanese: 配景 - はいけい（英語表記）perspective

A mathematical term. When there are two distinct planes α, α' in space and a point C that is not on either of them, let P, P' be the points where an arbitrary line passing through C intersects with α, α', and if P and P' correspond to each other, then there will be a one-to-one correspondence between points on α and points on α', including the point at infinity. This correspondence is called a perspective correspondence with C as the center (Figure 1). When there are two distinct lines a , a ' on a plane and a point C that is not on either of them, a one-to-one correspondence is similarly defined between points on a and points on a '. This is also called a perspective correspondence with C as the center (Figure 1).

数学用語。空間に異なる2平面α,α′とこれらの上にない1点Cがあるとき，Cを通る任意の直線がα,α′と交わる点をP,P′として，PとP′とを対応させれば，無限遠点も含めて考えるとき，α上の点とα′上の点とは1対1に対応する。この対応を，Cを中心とする配景対応という(図1)。平面上に異なる2直線a,a′とこれらの上にない1点Cがあるときも，a上の点とa′上の点の間に1対1対応が同様に定義される。これもCを中心とする配景対応という(図1)。
