〘noun〙 The act of cremating a corpse and placing the remains in an urn. Also, placing the urn in a charnel house or grave. ※Ninjyuku Zakki (1806) Vol. 1 (Kojiki Ruien, Rites 20) "Bone interment procedure (abbreviated) Also, Muenshu says, When interring the bones , recite chantments , make an offering and offer a rite for the relics."
