Farm Economic Survey - Noukai Zaichousa

This statistical survey was conducted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries with the aim of clarifying the reproduction process of individual agricultural management in Japan and the trends in farm economy. It is designated as Statistic No. 36. In 1994, the Farm Economy Survey was integrated with the Rice Production Cost Survey and the Production Cost Survey of Agricultural and Livestock Products Other Than Rice and Cocoons, and is now conducted as the Agricultural Management Statistics Survey. This survey largely follows the content of the Farm Economy Survey.

The Farm Economic Survey was a representative survey among various statistical surveys aimed at grasping the actual state and changes of the economic trends and economic structures of farmers, foresters, and fishermen as the national economy developed. This survey was started in 1913 (Taisho 2) and continued until it was succeeded by the Agricultural Management Statistics Survey, after a temporary hiatus.

わが国の個別農業経営の再生産過程と農家経済の動向を明らかにすることを目的として、農林水産省によって行われていた統計調査。指定統計第36号。その後、農家経済調査は1994年（平成6）、米生産費統計調査、米以外の農畜産物および繭の生産費調査と統合され、「農業経営統計調査」として実施されている。同調査は、農家経済調査の調査内容をほぼ踏襲している。

　農家経済調査は、国民経済の発展に伴う農林漁家の経済動向およびその経済構造の実態とその変化を把握する各種の統計調査のうちで、代表的なものであった。この調査は、1913年（大正2）に開始され、一時の中断時期を挟んで農業経営統計調査に引き継がれるまで継続して行われてきた。
