Japanese: 熱量流量計 - ねつりょうりゅうりょうけい

A measuring instrument for measuring the total amount of thermal energy supplied by a medium such as hot water or cold water over a certain period of time, also known as an integrating heat meter. It is used, for example, in central heating and cooling systems to calculate the monthly cumulative value of thermal energy supplied from a center to consumers. Structurally, it includes a mechanism for measuring the flow rate of the medium, a mechanism for measuring the change in medium temperature (a decrease in the case of hot water, an increase in the case of cold water) that occurs as the consumer consumes thermal energy, and a mechanism for calculating the cumulative amount of consumption by calculating the results of these two measurements.

温水，冷水などの媒体で供給される熱エネルギーの，ある期間内の総和量を知るための計測器で，積算熱量計とも呼ばれる。集中冷暖房システムでセンターから需要者に供給される熱エネルギーの月間の積算値を求める際などに用いられる。構造上，媒体の流量を測る機構と，需要者の側での熱エネルギー消費に伴って生ずる媒体温度の変化(媒体が温水の場合には低下，冷水の場合には上昇)を測る機構と，これら二つの測定の結果からの演算によって消費量の積算値を求める機構とを含む。
