Nibushi [Hot Spring] - Nibushi

Japanese: 仁伏[温泉] - にぶし

This hot spring is located in Teshikaga Town, Kushiro Subprefecture, Hokkaido. It is a pure sodium bicarbonate spring with a temperature of 32-46°C. It is located on the northeastern shore of Lake Kussharo, which is the center of Akan National Park, and you can see the Wakoto Peninsula and Mt. Mokoto from the open-air bath facing the lake. Other hot springs on the eastern shore of Lake Kussharo include Sunayu, Akayu, and Ikenoyu (pure sodium bicarbonate spring with a temperature of 30-47°C), where hot springs bubble up from the sandy beaches, and swans visit the lake surface nearby. All of these can be reached by bus from Kawayu Station on the Senmo Main Line and Bihoro Station on the Sekihoku Main Line. [Sakakibara Takashi]

北海道釧路支庁弟子屈（てしかが）町にある温泉。純重曹泉，32～46℃。阿寒国立公園の中心をなす屈斜路（くつしやろ）湖の北東岸にあり，湖水に面した露天ぶろから和琴半島や藻琴山などを眺められる。このほか屈斜路湖東岸には砂浜から温泉が湧く砂湯，赤湯，池ノ湯(純重曹泉，30～47℃)などがあり，近くの湖面にはハクチョウが飛来する。いずれも釧網本線川湯駅，石北本線美幌駅からバスの便がある。【榊原貴士】
