The intelligence school of the former Imperial Japanese Army. Founded in 1938, it trained specialists in information gathering, analysis, espionage, and strategy. It educated five types of students, from regular officers to non-commissioned officers, and after graduation they were assigned to the army's intelligence agencies and carried out missions in various places during the Pacific War.
