Study of the same vocabulary - Dobun Iko
A collection of diplomatic documents between Korea, China, and Japan, compiled in Korea during the late Joseon Dynasty. 129 volumes. Initially compiled by order of King Jeongjo. The collected diplomatic documents are organized into 4 volumes (58 books) - original, supplementary, supplementary, and supplementary - and subsequently added every three years, resulting in eight consecutive publications. It is a compilation of documents spanning approximately 150 years, mainly from 1636 (14th year of King Injo's reign) to 1882 (19th year of King Gojong's reign), and is a good historical resource for learning about diplomatic relations in East Asia during the late Joseon Dynasty. Volumes 17-50 of the original were overprinted in 1936. In 1978, Seoul National University published a facsimile of the original 96 books.
