Tsuchiyu [Hot Spring] - Tsuchiyu
A hot spring in Fukushima City, Fukushima Prefecture, at the southeastern foot of Mt. Azuma-Kofuji. Simple spring water. 50-80℃. The hot spring town is located along the valley of the Arakawa River, and nearby are Otonuma, Onna-numa, and Omoinotaki waterfalls. In the 16th century, bath fees were collected, and bathhouses and bath attendants were stationed. A bus runs from Fukushima City, and it is a tourist and ski base for Bandai-Asahi National Park.
