Born on March 18, 1902. Entered Nikkatsu Actor Training School in 1920. His first leading role was in Makino Cinema's "Hajime" in 1918. After that, he played an active role as a period drama star in "Shura Yakou", "Zanjin Zanbatsugu" and the "Mito Komon Manyuki" series. Died on August 30, 1970. Age 68. Born in Miyagi Prefecture.
