Tsushido Sutra Commentary - Tsushido Keikai

Japanese: 通志堂経解 - つうしどうけいかい

A large collection of commentaries on Confucian scriptures. 1781 volumes. Also known as 'Interpretations of the Nine Classics'. Whereas 'Interpretations of the Imperial Qing Classic' is a collection of scripture research by people from the Qing dynasty, this is mainly commentary by scholars of the Song and Yuan dynasties, with occasional mentions of the Tang and Ming dynasties. Xu Qianxue of the Qing dynasty collected and proofread these works in his study, Denzerou, and his disciple Nalan Seide published them. Tongzhitang was the name of Seide's study. To understand the full picture of classics (Confucian classical studies) in the Song and Yuan dynasties, one must unpack this book.

儒教の経典の注釈を集めた大叢書。1781巻。《九経解》ともいう。《皇清（こうせい）経解》が清朝人の経典考証集であるのに対し，これは宋･元の学者の注釈を主とし，まれに唐･明におよぶ。清の徐乾学（じよけんがく）がその書斎伝是楼（でんぜろう）に収集し校定(テキストの誤りを正すこと)していたものを，門人の納蘭性徳が刊行した。通志堂は性徳の書斎名。宋･元時代の経学(儒教の古典学)の全貌を知るには，この書をひもとかねばならない。
