Japanese: 板倉[町] - いたくら

A former town in Nakakubiki County in the southwest of Niigata Prefecture. The western part is the rice paddy region of Takada Plain, while the eastern part is hilly land that continues to Nagano Prefecture with small settlements scattered throughout. The main settlement, Hari, developed from a rural town along the Iiyama Highway. In addition to rice and vegetables, oysters and shiitake mushrooms are local specialties, and dairy farming is also thriving. In January 2005, it was incorporated into Joetsu City along with Yasuzuka Town, Urakawara Village, Oshima Village, and Maki Village in Higashikubiki County, Kakizaki Town, Ogata Town, Yoshikawa Town, Kiyosato Village, Kubiki Village, Nakago Village, and Miwa Village in Nakakubiki County, and Nadachi Town in Nishikubiki County. 66.51 ^km2 . 7,682 people (2003).

A town in Oura County, in the southeastern corner of Gunma Prefecture. Located in lowland between the Tone River and the Watarase River, it was once a rice-producing region, but nowadays it is also home to horticulture facilities. It is often flooded, and many houses have water mounds and landing boats. Area: ^{41.86 km2} . Population: 15,706 (2010).

新潟県南西部，中頸城(なかくびき)郡の旧町。西部は高田平野の水田地帯，東部は長野県に続く丘陵地で小集落が散在。主集落の針は飯山街道沿いの在郷町から発達した。米，野菜のほかカキ，シイタケを特産，酪農も盛ん。2005年１月東頸城郡安塚町，浦川原村，大島村，牧村，中頸城郡柿崎町，大潟町，吉川町，清里村，頸城村，中郷村，三和村，西頸城郡名立町と上越市へ編入。66.51km²。7682人（2003）。
