Japanese: 腟痙攣 - ちつけいれん

Also known simply as vaginismus. A condition in which the muscles at the vaginal opening and around the vagina spasm and contract involuntarily. It is often accompanied by pain. It is a rejection reaction that occurs mainly at the time of first intercourse, making it impossible to insert the penis, and if it occurs after insertion, it is difficult to release the bond. It is caused by an extreme fear or aversion to sexual intercourse, psychological regression, etc. Antispasmodics and sedatives can be used to temporarily alleviate the condition, but improving the psychological state is the first priority.

単に腟痙とも。腟口や腟周囲の筋肉が不随意(ふずいい)な痙攣・収縮を起こす症状。疼痛(とうつう)を伴うことが多い。おもに初交のときに起こる拒否的反応で，陰茎の挿入が不可能になり，挿入後に起こった場合は結合を解くのが困難。原因は性交に対する極度の恐怖感，嫌悪(けんお)感，心理的退行現象など。鎮痙薬，鎮静薬などを用いて一時的に緩和はできるが，心理状態の改善が先決。
