A book by Erasmus. Original title Moriae encomium, also known as Praise of Folly. Written in 1509 at the home of T. More, published in 1511. With a deep knowledge of ancient literature, the author portrays humans as a group of fools, and has the "Goddess of Folly" who rules over them speak freely, satirizing all authority.
