Diamond Game - Diamond Game

It is an indoor game played by three or two players using a star-shaped hexagonal board with lines drawn vertically and horizontally, and 45 pieces, 15 of which are usually painted in three colors, red, yellow, and green. The six protruding triangles on the board are painted the same color as the opposing pairs of pieces, and players place their pieces at the intersections of the 15 lines on one side of the triangle painted the same color as their pieces. Players take turns moving their pieces one digit at a time on the intersections of the lines, and the first player to place all of their pieces in the opposing triangle of the same color wins. Pieces can be moved in any direction, forward, backward, left, or right, and if there is another piece in the way, they can jump over it, regardless of whether it is an enemy or a friend. When a piece is jumped over, it can be moved continuously as many times as you like. However, it is prohibited to jump over more than two adjacent pieces, or to place your piece in the opponent's camp. Although the rules of this game are simple, it requires considerable thinking, and it has become popular as an interesting game.

星形の六角で縦横(たてよこ)に線が描かれている盤と、15個ずつ普通は赤、黄、緑の三色に塗り分けられた45個の駒(こま)を使用して3人または2人で争う室内ゲーム。盤の六つの突出した三角形は相対する二つずつ駒と同じ色に塗り分けられていて、競技者は自分の駒と同じ色に塗られた三角形の一方の15の線の交差点に駒を並べる。競技は、交互に自分の駒を一桁(けた)ずつ線の交差点上を動かして、早く向き合った同じ色の三角形の中に全部の駒を入れた者が勝ちとなる。駒は前後左右いずれの方向へも動かすことができ、途中に他の駒があるときは敵味方の関係なく1個だけは飛び越すことができる。駒を飛び越したときは何回でも連続して駒を動かすことができる。ただ2個以上の並んだ駒を飛び越すことと、相手方の陣地に自分の駒を入れることは禁じられている。このゲームはルールが単純なのにかかわらず相当な思考力を必要とし、興味深い遊びとして広まっている。
