The soushi faction (English spelling)

Japanese: 走資派 - そうしは（英語表記）zŏu zī pài

A Chinese abbreviation of "the faction of real power that walks the road to capitalism." Mao Zedong first used this term in 1965 in a document from the Politburo of the Communist Party of China entitled "On Some Issues Currently Raised in the Rural Socialist Movement." Mao's understanding at the time was that the CCP was on the brink of being discolored into revisionism by these pro-capitalist, privileged revisionist bureaucrats. During the Cultural Revolution that soon began, many bureaucrats, including Chairman Liu Shaoqi, were labeled this way and overthrown.

中国語の〈走資本主義道路的当権派(資本主義の道を歩む実権派)〉の略語。1965年，毛沢東が〈農村社会主義運動で当面提起されているいくつかの問題について〉と題する中共中央政治局の文献で初めてこのことばを用いた。当時の中共は，このような走資派＝修正主義特権官僚によって修正主義に変色させられる一歩手前にある，というのが毛沢東の認識であった。やがて始まった文化大革命のなかで，国家主席劉少奇をはじめ多くの官僚がこのレッテルをはられ，打倒された。
