Also called captured goods. Items seized or detained from the enemy as a result of combat, and the warring nation is granted the right to acquire ownership of them. Items such as weapons, horses, military documents, and military supplies that were directly used or could be used in war, as well as state property, must be confiscated. Private property generally cannot be confiscated. If an enemy ship (including private property) is captured at sea, it is considered a captured good if it is confiscated through the capture procedure, and is not considered a war booty.

鹵獲 (ろかく) 品とも呼ばれる。戦闘の結果，敵から押収または抑留すると同時に交戦国に所有権取得の効果が認められる物。兵器，馬匹，軍用書類など，戦争に直接使用されたかあるいは使用されうる軍需品および国有財産であることを要し，私有物は一般に没収できない。海上で敵船 (私有財産を含む) を拿捕しても，捕獲手続を経て没収する場合は捕獲品であって，戦利品とはいわない。
