A handbook on Ikebana by Ikenobo Sen'o. It is also called Sen'o Kadensho. Sen'o was a master of standing flower arrangement from the same era as Mon'ami, who was active from around 1523 (Taei 3) to 1543 (Tenbun 12), when Ikebana was first established. He was a monk at Chohoji Rokkakudo and the master of Ikebana in the Ikenobo school. All of the extant handbooks that describe Sen'o's oral traditions are transcriptions, but there are six of them, dating from 1523 to 1542. The most famous is the one included in Zoku Gunsho Ruiju, which has a colophon stating that Sen'o personally handed it down to Enrinbo Kensei in 1542.
