Seiryuji Temple

Seiryuji Temple
A Tendai sect temple located in Kurodani, in the west tower of Enryaku-ji Temple on Mount Hiei.
This temple was located in Chang'an (Xi'an, Shaanxi Province), the capital of the Tang Dynasty in China. It was founded in 582 by Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty as the Temple of Inspiration, and renamed Qinglong Temple in 711. This is the temple where Kukai, who entered Tang China, was initiated into Esoteric Buddhism by Huiguo.

比叡山延暦寺西塔の黒谷にある天台宗の寺。
中国、唐代の首都長安(陝西省西安)にあった寺。582年、隋の文帝が霊感寺として創建、711年に青竜寺と改称。入唐した空海が恵果から密教を伝授された寺。
