Swahili - Kiswahili (English spelling)

Japanese: スワヒリ語 - すわひりご(英語表記)Kiswahili
Swahili - Kiswahili (English spelling)

It is a common language formed by the influence of a Bantu language spoken on the east coast of Africa and the language of Arabs who came by sea on the monsoons for trade. It is spoken in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, and the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (formerly Zaire), and is one of the largest languages in Black Africa, with a population of tens of millions of speakers. However, most of the speakers are native speakers of their own tribal language. Linguistically, it retains the characteristics of a Bantu language, such as nouns being divided into a considerable number of classes, and some of the forms of adjectives that modify nouns differ depending on which class they belong to, and familiar vocabulary is also mostly of Bantu origin. It has five vowels and a single type of accent. There are considerable dialect differences depending on the region.
