Forest yield table

Japanese: 森林収穫表 - しんりんしゅうかくひょう（英語表記）yield table

Also called a stand yield table. A chart showing standard values for the number of trees, timber volume, and growth rate per hectare produced by an even-aged, pure forest that has been treated the same way for a certain tree species, for each certain age (usually 5 years). Usually, it is created by site. Its main uses include estimating timber volume and growth rate, judging site, determining stand size, forecasting yields, determining tree species, work type, and felling age, and forest evaluation. It is divided into general yield tables and regional yield tables depending on the area of application, and various yield tables are created depending on the purpose and target of use.

林分収穫表ともいう。ある樹種について，施業上同一の取扱いを受けた同齢単純林から生産される 1haあたりの本数，材積，生長量などの標準的な値を，一定年齢 (普通5年) ごとに表示した図表。普通は地位別に作成される。主要な用途としては，材積，生長量の推定，地位の判定，立木度の決定，収穫量の予想や，樹種・作業種・伐齢期の決定，森林評価などがあげられる。適用地域の広狭によって一般的収穫表と地方的収穫表に分けられ，また使用目的や対象によって種々の収穫表がつくられる。
