This is a compilation of single-line laws issued by the Kamakura Shogunate. The editor is unknown. Single-line laws issued to fill in the gaps in the Goseibai Shikimoku, the basic law code of the Kamakura Shogunate, and to respond to new situations, are generally called Shikimoku Additions or simply Additions. There are many collections of additions that have been handed down to the present day, but most of them are in chronological order, whereas this book is unique in that it is divided into five sections: Shrines, Buddhist Temples, Samurai's Office, Government Office, and Miscellaneous Affairs, and the additions are organized by content. It contains the second largest number of laws (336 in total) among similar books after the Konoe Family Additions, and provides an excellent historical resource for learning about the politics and laws of the Kamakura period. The manuscript is written in a style close to regular script, and is believed to have been created in the Muromachi period. Included in "Collection of Medieval Legal Sources, Volume 1" and "Zoku Gunsho Ruiju."
