Dermatoplasty

...To treat scars or bruises caused by burns or trauma, healthy skin is grafted onto the affected area. The surgery for this is called skin grafting. There are two types of skin grafting: pedicle skin grafting, in which the subcutaneous tissue is grafted while maintaining blood circulation, and free skin grafting, in which skin is cut down to the epidermis or dermis and grafted.
