Jogging - jogingu (English spelling)

A running style where you run slowly at your own pace while having fun, in order to maintain and improve your health and keep your body in good condition. It was previously done as a warm-up exercise for various sports, including boxing, but became popular in Europe and the US in the 1960s and 1970s. American physician Kenneth Cooper, who advocated aerobics, also argued from an exercise physiology perspective that jogging is good for maintaining and improving health and physical strength, and J.F. Fix theorized this in his book Jogging, which led to its popularity worldwide and a boom in Japan as well. People suspected of having lifestyle-related diseases (adult diseases) should be checked by a doctor before starting, and beginners should start by walking, gradually increasing the distance and time they run. The key is to avoid overdoing it and to enjoy running.
