Flux meter - magnetic flux meter

Japanese:
Flux meter - magnetic flux meter

A gauge that measures the amount of magnetic flux (SI units are Weber, Wb) passing through a coil or an iron core, or its changes. It is similar to a magnetometer that measures the strength of a magnetic field (SI units are amperes per meter, A/m), but whereas a magnetometer measures the strength and direction of a magnetic field in space, a fluxmeter measures the total amount of magnetic flux passing through a specific object, and is used to measure the properties of magnetic materials such as the iron core of a transformer (magnetic susceptibility, hysteresis, etc.). In principle, it integrates and displays the electromotive force induced in a detection coil by the change in magnetic flux over time, and there are various types depending on the purpose of the measurement and the required accuracy.
