Cyanosilver salt - Cyanoginsanen

A general term for complex salts in which silver ions are coordinated with cyanide ions. When silver cyanide (AgCN) is dissolved in excess of sodium cyanide (NaCN) or potassium cyanide (KCN), [Ag(OH)(CN)] ^- , [Ag(CN) ₂ ] ^- , [Ag(CN) ₃ ] ^2- , and possibly [Ag( ^CN ) ₄ ] ^3- are produced in the solution. When such a solution of cyanoargentate ions is used for silver plating, a dense surface with good electrodeposition can be obtained. One example of the composition of a silver plating solution is a solution of 30 g of AgCN, 45 g of KCN, and 25 g of potassium carbonate (K ₂ CO _{3 )} dissolved in 1 liter of water.

銀イオンにシアン化物イオンが配位した錯塩の総称。シアン化銀AgCNを過剰のシアン化ナトリウムNaCNまたはシアン化カリウムKCNに溶解すると[Ag(OH)(CN)]^－，[Ag(CN)₂]^－，[Ag(CN)₃]^2－，またCN^－の濃度が高い場合にはおそらく[Ag(CN)₄]^3－も溶液中に生成する。銀めっきにこのようなシアノ銀酸イオンの溶液を用いると，電着性のよい，緻密（ちみつ）な表面が得られる。銀めっき液の組成の一例に，水1lに，AgCN30g，KCN45g，炭酸カリウムK₂CO₃25gを溶かした溶液がある。
