Alkaline manganese dry cell

The material is the same as that of manganese dry batteries, with a carbon rod as the anode, wrapped in a mixture mainly of manganese dioxide, zinc powder as the cathode, and an alkaline aqueous solution of potassium hydroxide as the electrolyte. The rated voltage is 1.5V. It has a larger capacity than manganese dry batteries of the same shape, and is suitable for sudden discharge. 材料にマンガン乾電池と同じく炭素棒を陽極とし，これを二酸化マンガンを主とした合剤で包み，陰極として亜鉛粉末を用い，電解液として水酸化カリウムなどのアルカリ水溶液を用いた乾電池。定格電圧は 1.5V。同一形状のマンガン乾電池に比べ容量が大きく，急放電に適している。
