First move group - Saki Tegumi
〘Noun〙 One of the job titles in the Edo Shogunate. A combined name for the Sente Teppo Gumi (first rifle group) and Sente Yumi Gumi (first archery group). In 1632, it was decided that there would be a total of 25 groups, with 15 gun groups and 10 archery groups, but later it became 28 groups (20 gun groups and 8 archery groups). They were responsible for guarding inside and outside Edo Castle, guarding when the Shogun was dispatched, and fighting arson and theft within the city. It was abolished in 1866 .

〘名〙 江戸幕府の職名の一つ。先手鉄砲組・先手弓組の併称。寛永九年(一六三二)に鉄砲一五組、弓一〇組の計二五組と定めたが、のち二八組(鉄砲二〇組、弓八組)となった。江戸城内外の警衛、将軍出向の際の警固、市中の火付盗賊改などに当たった。慶応二年(一八六六)廃止。
