Kabuki actor. There are five generations. (1) The First (1769-1821, Meiwa 6-Bunsei 4) The third son of the first Kichisaburo. His pen name was Rikan, later Rikan. His previous name was Arashi Yoshimatsu. He took the name of the second Kichisaburo in 1787 (Tenmei 7). Just before his death in March 1821 (Bunsei 4), he passed the stage name on to his nephew and changed his name to the first Arashi Tachibana (Kitsu) Saburo. In May of the same year, he took the name of the first Arashi Rikan and was commonly known as "Dai Rikan." He was a handsome actor with a good speaking voice, and was highly praised as a star actor. In 1817 (Bunka 14), he was involved in a lawsuit over his popularity with the third Onoe Kikugoro, a star actor in Edo, who was in the upper class. 歌舞伎俳優。5世まである。(1)初世(1769‐1821∥明和6‐文政4) 初世吉三郎の三男。俳名李冠のち璃寛。前名嵐吉松。1787年(天明7)に2世吉三郎を襲名。没する直前の1821年(文政4)3月に名跡を甥に譲り,初世嵐橘(きつ)三郎と改名。同年5月には初世嵐璃寛を名のり,〈大璃寛〉と通称された。美男役者で口跡もよく,花形ともてはやされた。1817年(文化14)上坂していた江戸の花形3世尾上菊五郎と人気争いから訴訟騒ぎが起きたほど。
