A town in the Nara Basin, Kitakatsuragi District, Nara Prefecture. The Kintetsu Tawaramoto Line runs through the north. In addition to rice, wheat, eggplant, etc. are cultivated. Sock manufacturing is thriving and the town is one of the leading sock-producing areas in the country. The Kudara area was the home of ancient immigrants.
