Koibuchi Gakuen

Japanese: 鯉淵学園 - こいぶちがくえん

Located in Uchihara-cho, Higashiibaraki-gun, Ibaraki Prefecture, this is an educational institution aimed at training agricultural leaders. High school graduation is the qualification for admission to the undergraduate course (3 years), which consists of an agriculture course (for boys and girls) and a life and nutrition course (for girls). It was established in 1945 as the National Agricultural Association's Advanced Agricultural Training Institute, and when the National Agricultural Association was dissolved in 1948, the Farmers Education Association was established as a foundation, which took over its operations and renamed it Koibuchi Gakuen. Initially, the courses were general agriculture, agricultural cooperatives, and rural life (each 2 years long), and in 1970 it was reorganized into its current form. The approximately 50-hectare site includes a vast training farm, school buildings, dormitories, etc.

茨城県東茨城郡内原町にある，農村指導者の養成を目的とする教育機関。本科(3年制)は高校卒業を入学資格とし，農業科(男女)，生活栄養科(女子)からなる。1945年に全国農業会高等農事講習所として発足，48年の全国農業会解散に伴い財団法人農民教育協会を創立してその事業を継承し，鯉淵学園と改称した。当初は一般農業科，農業協同組合科，農村生活科(各2年制)で，70年度から現在のように改組した。約50haの敷地内に広大な実習農場，校舎，寮等がある。
