Kurumisou - Walnut Sho

Japanese: 久留美荘 - くるみのしょう

This manor was located in Minagi County, Harima Province, and is considered to be the area centered on Kurumi, Miki City, Hyogo Prefecture today. It is also written as Gurumi. During the Kamakura and Nanboku-cho periods, it was the property of the Kujo family, and later the property of Kasuga Shrine in Nara. In the early 14th century, the fixed land area was 75 cho 3 tan, and the annual tax of 82 koku was transported by sea to the Kujo family. In 1308, the landlord of the manor, Kinko-na, was divided between the landlord and the landlord, and in 1333, the landlord's interference with the landlord of Toshimana was stopped. In 1339, Daijo-in Monzeki Kokaku, the son of Kujo Fusazane, donated the manor to Kasuga Shrine. The landlord continued to encroach on the land, and in 1447, Kasuga Shrine appealed to the shogunate for direct management. With the rise of the Sengoku daimyo Bessho clan, it was converted into a fief and is thought to have lost its substance as a manor, but its existence is recognized as having existed until around 1570.

播磨国美嚢(みなぎ)郡にあった荘園で，現在の兵庫県三木市久留美を中心とする一帯に比定。具留美などとも書く。鎌倉〜南北朝期には九条家領，その後は奈良春日社領。14世紀初頭には定田75町３反余で，年貢82石余が海路九条家へ運ばれた。1308年当荘近行名は地頭と和与中分となり，1333年には利松名に対する地頭の乱妨が停止されている。1339年九条房実の子，大乗院門跡孝覚は当荘を春日社へ寄進した。その後も地頭による蚕食は続き，1447年には春日社は直務を幕府に訴えている。戦国大名別所氏の台頭によって領国化され，荘園としての実体は失ったとみられるが，1570年ころまでは存在が認められる。
