Kulp'ori ruins - Kuppori ruins (English spelling)

Japanese: 屈浦里遺跡 - くっぽりいせき（英語表記）Kulp‘ori yujŏk

Located in Seopohang-dong, Golpo-ri, Yungi-gun, North Hamgyong-do, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, this is a representative settlement site in the northeastern part of the Korean Peninsula spanning the Paleolithic, Comb Pattern Pottery (Neolithic) and Plain Pottery (Bronze Age) periods. It is located near the mouth of the Tumen River, on the coast facing Zozo Bay, at the foot of the western hills. It was excavated several times between 1960 and 1964. In the Paleolithic period, choppers and blades made of quartz and megalithic granite were found in the lower layer, the Golpo Culture I layer, along with a facility filled with stones believed to be the remains of a stone tool workshop.

朝鮮民主主義人民共和国咸鏡北道雄基郡屈浦里西浦項洞にあり，朝鮮半島北東部における旧石器時代から櫛目文土器(新石器)時代，無文土器(青銅器)時代にわたる代表的集落遺跡。豆満江の河口に近く，造山湾に面した海岸部で，丘陵の西側山麓に立地する。1960年から64年にかけて，数次にわたり発掘調査された。旧石器時代では，下層の屈浦文化I期層から，石器製作所跡と推定される石材が配置された施設とともに，石英･巨晶花コウ岩を使ったチョッパー，刃器などが見つかった。
