[Born] Jiading 2 (1209) [Died] 1281 A representative scholar of the Yuan Dynasty in China. His pen name was Zhongping and his pen name was Luzai. He was a farmer from Henan Province. He was an admirer of Cheng Yi and Zhu Xi, and studied various theories with Yao Shu and others. He became a scholar of the Jingzhao before Emperor Sejo ascended to the throne, and after he ascended to the throne, he was appointed as the Guozi Sajidou. He promoted governance based on traditional Chinese methods (Hanfa), which was accepted, and he also established the government system and the court council. From 1271 (1271), he educated Mongolian children as the Jixian University Scholar and Guozi Sajidou, and from 1271 (1272), he participated in the creation of the Shushi calendar. It was his achievement that made Zhu Xi studies popular in northern China. Although he did not have any special original ideas, he was a prominent figure in the Yuan Dynasty, when Confucianism was stagnant.
