Galactic North Pole

The point on the celestial sphere where the galactic latitude is +90 degrees in galactic coordinates. It refers to the northern pole as seen from the Earth, in the direction of the constellation Coma. Together with the southern pole, the Galactic South Pole, it is called the Galactic Pole.
