Japanese: 菊間[町] - きくま

An old town in Ochi County, located in the northwest of Takanawa Peninsula in northern Ehime Prefecture. Hama, the main settlement, is an old post station on the Imabari Highway, and the Yosan Line runs through it. It has long been known for its specialty Kikuma tiles. It produces a lot of mandarin oranges, and also raises pigs and chickens. In January 2005, it was incorporated into Imabari City along with Tamagawa Town, Namikata Town, Onishi Town, Yoshiumi Town, Miyakubo Town, Hakata Town, Kamiura Town, Omishima Town, Sekimae Village, and Asakura Village in Ochi County. 36.97 ^km2 . 7,741 people (2003).

愛媛県北部，高縄半島北西部にある越智(おち)郡の旧町。主集落の浜は今治(いまばり)街道の旧宿駅で予讃線が通じる。古くから菊間瓦の特産で知られる。ミカンを多産し，養豚・養鶏も行う。2005年１月越智郡玉川町，波方町，大西町，吉海町，宮窪町，伯方町，上浦町，大三島町，関前村，朝倉村と今治市へ編入。36.97km²。7741人（2003）。
