Gosho - Kyosho

Gosho - Kyosho

…A local government organization in Korea during the Yi Dynasty. It is also called Hyōshadang, Hyōso, or Jisō. It was established as a system in which local yangban (high ranking government officials) could assist and advise the shurei (local officials) dispatched from the central government, following the tradition of local government from the Goryeo Dynasty.
