Gas Liquid - Gas Station

An aqueous solution obtained by washing and cooling the gas generated during coal carbonization. It contains ammonia and its salts, carbolic acid, pyridine, etc. Ammonia can be recovered as a gas by adding steam to the gas liquid and heating it. Carbolic acid can also be recovered by washing with benzol, etc. Ammonium sulfate is produced from the recovered ammonia. 石炭乾留の際発生するガスを水で洗浄，冷却して得られる水溶液。アンモニアとその塩類，石炭酸，ピリジンなどが含まれる。ガス液に水蒸気を加えて熱するとアンモニアはガスとして回収される。また，ベンゾールなどで洗浄して石炭酸を回収する。回収したアンモニアからは硫安が製造される。そのほかガス液はピリジン，ゲルマニウムなどの回収原料としても利用される。
