...A pale pink ghost fire said to be lit by a fox. Some glow alone, but many are called "fox lantern processions" or "fox weddings," and involve a procession of many flickering lights. There was a custom in the area around Kiryu in Gunma Prefecture that if a fox fire was seen on the night of a wedding, the wedding procession would be cancelled and people would refrain from going ahead.
