A weapon that has ²³⁸ U around a hydrogen bomb, ^which is then fissified by a large number of high-speed neutrons produced by a nuclear fusion reaction, further enhancing the explosive energy. After serving as a neutron reflector and tamper, ^{the 238} U is involved in a fission reaction, which results in an increase in residual radioactivity and is therefore called a "dirty hydrogen bomb." The name 3F bomb comes from the initials of the three nuclear reactions that occur during the explosion: fission of the atomic bomb used for the detonation, fusion of deuterium, and fission of ²³⁸ U. …
