A typical Bon Odori song from Gunma and Tochigi prefectures, said to have originated from "Kizaki Ondo," which was sung in Kizaki, Nitta-machi, Nitta-gun, Gunma prefecture. Kizaki was a post station on the Nikko Reihei-kaido road to Toshogu Shrine during the Edo period, and a woman from Echigo who worked at an inn gained popularity by singing "Shinbo Kodaiji Kuzushi" at banquets and other events.
