Organ system

Japanese: 器官系 - きかんけい（英語表記）organ system

A general term for a series of functional and morphological systems in which several organs have a common function and work together. In other words, the digestive organs, circulatory organs, respiratory organs, excretory organs, reproductive organs, light-emitting organs, skin, skeleton, motor organs, sound-producing organs, electric-generating organs, nervous system, sensory organs, and endocrine organs found in animals are all organ systems.
