In other words, around 1670 (Kanbun 10), the townscape moved south from Sanjo along Yamato-oji, forming the Gion Soto-roku-cho area between the area and Donguri-no-zushi, south of Shijo-dori. In 1713 (Shotoku 3), the town was developed along the Shirakawa River, and the Gion Uchi-roku-cho area appeared.
