…Editing continued, and the 1744-60 edition was completed in 1760 (Horeki 10), the 1761-87 edition (Horeki 11-Tenmei 7) edition in 1789 (Kansei 1), and the 1788-1837 edition in 1841 (Tenpo 12). All of these were titled Gofukusho, but they were sometimes called Kanpo Shusei or Horeki Senshu after the year of their creation to distinguish them. The originals are held in the National Diet Library and the National Archives of Japan, but Takayanagi Shinzo and Ishii Ryosuke co-edited Gofukusho Kanpo Shusei, Horeki Shusei, Tenmei Shusei, and Tenpo Shusei are published versions, and the editors have always used titles that begin with the year. …
